Another one bites the dust

After a wet and cold day yesterday we were treated to a beautiful sunset last night, the colours in the sky and the reflections over the water were simply stunning.  The photo is pretty good but really nothing compared to the real thing.

This morning dawned a better day and we spent the day driving around checking out the beaches and the coast lines.  The road left alot to be desired - dirt all the way however the coastline more than made up for it - simply stunning.

The road was literally littered with shingleback lizards slinking their way across the road or baking themselves in the sun.  Sadly one of them choose the middle of the road to do this and with Dave at the wheel...lets just say he won't be sunbaking again tomorrow - looks like the lizard score is 1 each now!

Today whilst driving along we were also lucky enough to see a fox as well, he wasn't in a hurry either - stopped to check us out which gave us a chance to check him out too.

Jade cooked dinner tonight - her first attempt at cooking anything - chops, sausages and steak on the BBQ and she even made the salad too - well done Jadey!!

Tomorrow we set off across the Nullarbor, we're all looking forward to more adventures and the remoteness again, hoping for a clear night so we can check out the stars.  The fridge is stocked, car full of petrol and all the mechanics checked (GO DAVE!!) so we're ready to go!!
